Capability
This project was implemented to strengthen the capability of the hospitality workforce in Housekeeping Operations, Front Office Operations and Restaurant Operations in Lao PDR.
About the project
Project Scope: The project consisted of 3 runs of the programmes aimed to enhance the skills competency in the following areas:
- Run 1 on Housekeeping Operations (HSO)
- Run 2 on Front Office Operations (FOO)
- Run 3 on Restaurant Operations (RSO)
Each run comprised of 1 week of Customer Service (CS) training in Lao PDR and 2 weeks of practice-oriented training in Singapore.
Impact & Outcome:
- Run 1 was conducted in Dec 2017. A total of 20 Master Trainers were trained in various aspects of Customer Service and Housekeeping Operations.
- Run 2 was conducted in Jun/Jul 2018 for 19 Master Trainers in the area of Front Office Operations.
- Run 3 was held in Mar 2019 where 20 participants were being taught the new skills in Customer Service and Restaurant Operations.
