Bangladesh
Capability
This programme enhanced the capability of 160 leaders and trainers in TVET pedagogy competency as part of the Skills for Employment Investment Programme (SEIP) in Bangladesh.
About the project
Project Scope: The programme consisted of a Pedagogy Programme and a Refresher Programme. It was conducted for 4 batches of TVET participants with each batch comprising 80 participants.
In the first phase, participants completed a 2-week training programme in Singapore, focusing on equipping newly recruited trainers with pedagogical knowledge and skills to deliver trade module curriculum according to Bangladesh’s National Competency Standard. In the second phase, the same participants engaged in a 2-day Refresher Programme to further enhance their learning.
Impact & Outcome: Upon the completion of the programme, the participants applied their newly acquired skills and knowledge at their workplace and were able to enhance the delivery of the curriculum in alignment with their National Competency Standard.
