Capability Development Programme in Digitalisation Skills



This project upgraded the digitalisation skills of trainers from the Office of Vocational Education Commission (OVEC) to cultivate a cadre of IT-savvy specialists capable of imparting these skills to students, and prepare them for the digital era.

About the project

Project Scope: A 5-day Skills Upgrading Course (SUC) in Digitalisation Skills was developed and delivered online for 100 TVET leaders and specialists from OVEC. The course aimed to introduce digitalisation skills to the participants and show how digitalisation could be incorporated to improve their systems and processes.  Through sharing of ITE’s experience, the participants learned new skills and best practices in TVET digitalisation and applied  for their respective institutions.

Impact & Outcome: ITEES delivered 2 runs of SUCs online for a total of 34 leaders and 32 specialists in the year of 2022.  The remaining 1 run of SUC is expected to be conducted for another 34 specialists by Dec 2024.
