This consultancy project involved the setting up of a modern technical training institute namely COSA, to be modelled after ITE Singapore, in the Global Skills Park (GSP), Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India.
About the project
Project Scope: The project involved the development of a roadmap for the establishment of a high-quality training infrastructure as well as the development of TVET leadership, pedagogic and skills training programmes to support the skills manpower needs of Madhya Pradesh economy.
The project activities include:
- Development of Training Materials
- Conduct of Train-the-Trainers Workshops in Singapore and India
- Conduct of Leadership and Management Workshop in Singapore
- Infrastructure Development and Workshop Commissioning in India
Impact & Outcome: Once completed, the COSA will have an annual enrolment of some 5000 students trained in 10 technical and vocational courses. It aims to be a model TVET institution in Madhya Pradesh, India.
