Project Scope: In 2019, ITEES collaborated with Odisha Skills Development Authority (OSDA) on a second capacity building project to develop the capability of TVET leaders and trainers from the Government Polytechnics and Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs). The programme comprises the following:

Management of a Modern TVET Institution Workshop

A 2-week training workshop was carried out to enhance the leadership and management skills of TVET Leaders in managing Government Polytechnics in Odisha, India. The workshop was conducted in Singapore in Nov 2019.

TVET Pedagogy for Trainers Workshop for TVET Trainers

A 2-week training workshop was carried out to enhance the pedagogic skills in delivering effective lessons for TVET trainers of Government ITIs in Odisha. All 3 runs of training workshop were conducted in Singapore in Nov 2019, May 2022 and Dec 2022 respectively.

Impact & Outcome: A total of 40 Leaders and 75 Trainers were trained in this programme. Some 460 leaders and trainers who did not attend the programme in Singapore were trained through a series of post-training sharing workshops conducted by the trained participants.
