Through this leadership and capability development project for Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security (CQHRSS) , China. In this project, ITEES provided TVET leadership training for the government officials of CQHRSS and technical training in Industry 4.0 for their TVET trainers.
About the project
Project Scope: The China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity (CCI) is the third G-to-G cooperation project between Singapore and China; and the CCI Administrative Bureau (CCIB) was formed to take charge of the project implementation. A tripartite MoU involving ITE, CCIB and the Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security (CQHRSS) was signed in November 2017 and renewed in April 2022. As part the activities under the MoU, ITEES provided 2 TVET capacity building training programmes for Chongqing province. The first was the TVET leadership programme for 50 government officials which was conducted via synchronous online mode during the Covid-19 pandemic. The second was the technical training in Industry 4.0 for 25 TVET trainers in Singapore.
Impact & Outcome: To cascade their learning, the 75 participants conducted virtual multiplier training for another 240 TVET leaders and trainers.
