Leadership
This was a leadership training programme to develop key TVET institute leaders from the Office of Vocational Education Commission (OVEC), with the aim to transform OVEC's system of small colleges into bigger cluster of institutes.
About the project
Project Scope: This project aimed to strengthen the system of administration and management, training, and delivery of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Thailand towards alignment with industry needs through better leadership. ITEES completed 4 runs of LTP from May 2009 to May 2012.
Impact & Outcome: Through the 4 runs of LTP, ITEES trained 80 leaders who in turn trained another 456 leaders through a series of Post-Training Sharing Workshops held in Thailand. During the implementation of this project, OVEC further fine-tuned their national TVET plan for better management of institutions by clustering a pool of 100 colleges into 19 institutes.
This programme was co-funded by Temasek Foundation, Singapore.
